The Rogue Files: Interview with Days to Come

Days To Come 2

Tell us about your band.

A: Justin – My name is Justin Goodson and I’m the vocalist for Days To Come. Brandon Rix is our guitarist and Jalen Hall is our drummer. We’re a light pop prog rock band. We enjoy infusing pop vocal melodies with heavier music.

What are you working on currently (album, tour, music video, etc.)?

A: Jalen – Right now we are getting closer to our next EP release and scheduling more tour dates for the year. We just released our new single, “Ashes” (January 2020) and we’re excited to promote it.

If you were asked to re-Score a movie, what movie would it be? Why?

A: Brandon – Any movie that claims to be scary and isn’t. I’d change all the music to circus music since the movie is clownin’.

What is the music scene like where you’re from?

A: Brandon – It’s mostly country or hip hop/rap artists. We’re not really like anyone in our area.

If you could tour with any band(s) (active or not) who would it be and why?

A: Justin – I would love to support Alter Bridge, Nothing More, Red Sun Rising, or Sevendust. Any of those bands would be so much fun to tour with.

There are a lot of things I like about each of those bands and it would be really great to have the opportunity to watch them from side stage.

Why do you do what you’re do? (re: making music)?

A: Justin – To connect with people. Music is powerful and it’s a wonderful way of bringing value to someone’s life. I’ve been so positively impacted by music and I hope that the music I help to create has a positive impact on others.

We are fans of comics, sci-fi, horror and wrestling. So tell us, what kind of nerd are you?

A: Jalen – If ya need any info on anything Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Transformers, video game, or comic related then I’m your guy.
