Finland’s Denominate signs with Inverse Records

Progressive technical death metal band Denominate has signed a deal with their homeland’s own Inverse Records. The Oulo, Finland quintet draws influence from bands like Death and Carcass, blending it  with newer, more technical elements to create a progressive sound with a touch of old-school rawness.

Denominate’s new album, Those Who Beheld the End, is set for release on August 5th, 2016 through Inverse Records. It is an album that further hones Denominate’s sound towards the progressive side of the metal spectrum. Those Who Beheld the End has a more polished sound, experimenting melodically while still implementing the heaviness of their debut EP Realms of Confusion.

Those Who Beheld the End was recorded and mixed at a private studio in Oulu. The album was recorded and mixed by Joacim U. Belius. The mastering of the album was done in Sweden at Unisound AB by the legendary Dan Swanö, known for his musicianship in Edge of SanityBloodbath, Katatonia and Opeth as well as production expertise he has lent to a long list of other well-known death metal artists.
